If you or anyone you know requires help with alcohol abuse or misuse of recreational drugs, we are able to provide the following strictly confidential services in cooperation with the relevant local NHS Drug and Alcohol Service.
Needle exchange provision and management
People who inject drugs can cause harm to themselves as part of the injecting process.
At Morton's Pharmacy, we provide a needle exchange service, as part of which we supply free injecting equipment,
This helps to reduce the risk of catching infections, such as HIV, Hepatitis B or Hepatitis C.
We can also provide you with information on how to inject safely.
Dispensing and supervised consumption service
The supervised consumption service provides you with support to get stablised on a treatment programme with the support of prescribed medicines.
Referral and healthcare advice
Our teams at Morton's Pharmacy have extensive experience in providing support but can also put you in touch with other organisations which can offer more support and further information.
